Go to a site called sopcast, download their sopcast player and enjaay!! :D Better still, if u wanna watch all these channels from home, get a Dish TV connection... You can ask your cable operator to do that. Anyway I have set top box and it's good. But I haven't bought the set top box instead rented it. Then suddenly our cable operator decided to change from Win Cable to some other cable and the Set Top Box became useless. And I got all the flak because I was the one who forced everyone to get it. But I think its not that expensive anymore. And after you install it once, its just 300 Rs per month. I think its quite fine. Although I don't watch much television, but its a good feeling that all the channels are there in my TV.
