Phew !! Its really strange that it takes a build up as lame as the one above to take a blogger like me out from hibernation . Self-Motivation , u see . Every one Needs motivation . And when there is no one to motivate u . You have do all on your own . Now that cheer girls have stopped Chanting my name let me come to the main idea of the post.

This has been my longest absence from the blogosphere . I really missed all Your blogs and i guess u must have missed my valuable ,enlightning and entertaining posts too . Never mind ! Now that i am back , your Ultimate source of Entertainment is back Online .

A Lot has happened in a span of month . Yet it seems so vague that i will have to search for words to fill it up here . Sometimes i feel that the world has narrowed down much within a time of 2 months .Home to office , Office to home . Ofcourse they pay me but it still seems so odd . Huh !! May be i need more time to adjust with my Korporate Konnection . Anyways i dont intend to write my tantrums out here . So lets talk something interesting . Cricket ??? . WHy not !! . Well, India creating history in NewZeland by winning a series after 41 years is not what i am going to talk about .:P They are creating “history” far too often now that it has started to become little monotonous now . The interesting thing is that HIPL (Hewitt internal peremiar league) is going on at my office . The good news is that my team (vennila cricket kuzhu ) is through to super six . Now how good would it feel to hit a six as the winning shot . Thats what i did and my team members have found their new hero . Well , you see i have a natural flair for the game . Lucky that i have a blog where i can blow my own trumpet . And we have formed Vennila kabbadi kuzhu also . I am sure we would be atleast runner up in that . It seems there are only 2 teams that have registered inluding my team .

I have regained my old love and passion for books . Although i dont get much time but still i have been making it a point to read atleast 30-40 pages daily .Currently reading The White Tiger and now i am able to realize why people were going ga-ga over this book . Bought Robin cook’s Invasion . Anyone here who has read that book ?? A short review would be fine in the comment section . Talking about books , Yesterday one of my collegues came across my blog .She was hell-bent on insisting me that IT field is not my cup of tea. .According to her I should ,perhaps , write a book . Now How crazy is that ?

And Whats all this about Rakhi sawant Getting married On NDTV IMAGINE . I mean Is she On her minds or what . I knew she was crazy but this is too much .I need to figure out a theory which proves that Length of dress u wear is directly proportional to the size of brain . And May be now NDTV IMAGINE can flaunt with a big advertizement Rakhi ka SWAYAMWAR – Reality show ka Baap . The show would be the height of crazyness .

New York-based human resources company ORC Worldwide has released a recent survey which has a list of 55 worst cities to work in world :D .

and Guess what ?? 3 indian cities have made it to the list …

No surprises .I am not going to write anything new , infact i have got nothing new .

First of all I would like to congratulate Ar Rahman and Resul Pookutty for bringing oscars to our country ,something that we badly missed every year. Each and every indian would be proud for what they have managed to achieve . Frankly speaking i never thought we would get oscars .

But ,when A.R.Rehman got nominated i was sure that he would get one atleast . He is a true genius . Starting from Roja for which he won national award ,he has never turned back . The magic he creates in every movie still amazes me. I can name quite a few movies which ran in theaters just due to his music .Kollywood -> Bollywood ->Hollywood , Is there anything left unconquered .

Long live rahman . Jai Ho Rahman !!

Anyways, I would like to put forward some questions . Give me your honest opinion

Both the songs in slumdog were good . But dont you think he (rahman) has infact , given us far better songs in the past ??

No wonder slumdog won the award for best cinematography , I really liked the way the movie was presented ,but did it deserve the award for best motion picture ???

Did You know who Resul pookutty was before he won the oscars ?? (i mean i am not a movie buff so i wasnt aware of him )

A 5-0 series white wash against India in their own den would have been disastrous for the lankan lions. Thanks to some lousy bowling from indian bowlers and really stupid selection of shots , Sri lanka has been able to save a little pride by winning atleast the last one day match of the series .

India sure is on a roll and i have never been so optimistic about the current cricket team . Yeah its the same me who use to talk about the enigmatic indian cricket team and i still stand by my words . Anyways ,lets not talk about that . 5-0 against england and 4-1 here in srilanka is laudable effort considering the team without ganguly,dravid ,harbhajan and even sachin (if u consider that he dint score in two digits in the series ) . The best part being that they have been able to win convincingly and comfortably (Second one dayer was an exception ofcourse ). First time TEAM INDIA is starting to show its real meaning because the team is playing as a unit as for the first time ,not depending upon a individual.

Last couple of months have been quite exciting for Cricket fans like me .Indian cricket team is on second position in ICC cricket ratings for the first time . Yes , for the first time and thats quite a shocker isnt it ??.A country like ours which has given so many great legends to the sport like kapil dev ,sunil gavanskar ,sachin tendulkar ,bishen singh bedi etc , has never been able to reach the second position leave alone the first place . Better Late than never now that we are in 2 , the no1 spot is just a series away . Touchwood

South african team becoming the no. 1 team and australia moving to 3rd place , Sounds so good rite ?? I mean i was sick of seeing a perfect side like australians had . I am really happy to see the fall of the mighty australian side .Yes they were the best team and played some fabulous cricket over last decade but then they could never gain my respect ,may be because they were a proud team and had an acute superiority complex . MR . Ponting – i know it must be paining a lot .but thats the way it is . Higher you go , Harder you fall !!

Coming to IPL seasons II , I wonder if the last two letters mean Paisa Lutaao . These so called business tycoons with their so called Girl freinds / cine stars are spending money like hell . The news channels have already raised questions if spending this much is necessary during recession times . I guess ITs there money and and they can very well spend that and i am sure they will get huge returns for that . Thats why they are investing it . So simple logic . All i feel sad for now is that my DAD is not a Cricketer . If he was one i would have been one too and that way i would have made so much money by now and instead of posting a blog post , i would have released a book . I would have been famous . Not to mention that i would have become a heart throb among the indian girls by now .. and then…….wait a minute i have gone way off the track .. .So where was I ,.. yeah IPL . So I was saying IPL is really merry making time for cricketers . Take for example Peterson and Flintoff , they are getting 1.55 million dollars for 3 weeks .. and Mortaza , the guy from bangladesh valued at 50,000 dollars was auctioned at 650,000 $ ,more than 10 times his value . like we say in tamil ..

I hardly get to watch Tv these days and even when i do get time , most of it goes by just surfing around the channels . There arent any genuine entertainment programs available these days . All one could see is sick mega soaps where one women plots against another or the reality shows where people do everything to disgrace themselves in front of public or lame news channels which covers a tiger-tigress love story . And living in cities like Chennai doesn’t help either because they bring in some crap Set top system and remove all the good channels saying that they are not free . Now i understand the meaning of Nothing Comes Free.

Let me come to the topic without deviating anymore . Changing channels with a stone aged remote is a big pain in the ass hands . Bang it here ,bang it there and then press the button and it will work . Thats the mantra for operating the remote which no one in my home ,except me, understands . So i was changing the channels .. 1 …. bang bang …2… bang bang … ..67 . and then it stopped .I could not beleive my eyes .I was seeing the good old DD channel in malayalam though . and guess what ?? The channel showed Mile sur mera tumhara ad . I dint move an inch during the whole song . Even even my mom who was running from one room to another , stopped to watch it .

Created in 1988 by Lok Seva Sanchar Parishad, and promoted by Doordarshan and India’s Ministry of Information , the song still remains in the heart of millions of people . 6 minutes of complete bliss .thats what the song is .A song which describes our country as a whole , which teaches the meaning of Unity in Diversity ,harmony and National integration .Too bad that no private channels show it anymore when it is most needed.

Political Parties dividing the country for vote bank is not new these days . I think those people should be locked in a room and this song should be played 24×7 .

All i have been  doing for the last 40 minutes is sitting and watching the computer screen without moving my eyes an inch . No , I aint watching Any Porn  Movies   .IT was just my wordpress add new post Page i was staring at. and guess why??  The intellectual side  of me was trying to write some Post  . But all i  could do after 40 minutes comprehensive and exhaustive thought , was to start writing a Post  as gibberish as this one  .
It has been 8 days since my last post .Gosh !! Time sure flies when u start working but i really feel now how difficult it is to maintain a blog if you are working . And Things become worse when u have a life as Boring as Mine.
The other day I had a conversation with my freind

ME – arre time hi nahi milta yaar …
Freind- Arre aisa kya ukhaad raha hai office mein tu .
Me-    !!!!!
Well ,the truth is that I really wasnt doing anything at office  . Yeah nothing except finding ways to bypass Websense and accessing the sites that i should not, Taking control of freinds computer using remote access and shutting it down , playing snooker , and ofcourse staring at Beautiful girls at the cafeteria  . And For all this they are paying me good money too .Not to Mention that they Provide me pick and drop facility too   . THe only problem is shifts and the reason why i am writing the Post at such a odd time is that my shift starts at 330 Am morning from today and i have no idea what to do till that time .
thats it guys .. I dont want you people to throw stones  and  Rotten tomatoes at my Blog So i would Stop here . I still have 66 unread Posts in my reader so hold on , my valuable comment will be there on ur blog within a day or so   .

Ramalinga Raju Admits 7000 Crore Fraud

Satyam Which has been in troubled waters for sometime now suffered the worst blow any company could  get when its chief ramalinga raju confessed that all these years the accounts shared with the share holders and  investors were inflated . Its clear now that  maytas Deal was a cover up used for filling  the gap between the balance sheets and the actual money that was available with the company .
It actually comes as an  absolute shocker that a company as big as satyam which is even listed in New York stock exchange could come under the scanner for a fraud of such a huge sum . ofcourse , thousands employees who make the company aren’t responsible but ultimately its the brand name SATYAM that takes the toll . And the investors and the employees are the ones who suffer in turn .
This news , yesterday, spread like a wild fire and the investors reacted within no time to take out the money . The company  shares had a free fall from a value of  170 to mid 30s , almost77  percent down . This is  expected to go further  down .Somewhere i even read that the shares could touch a value as low as zero .
The repercussions of this whole event Could be huge . Indian market which is already reeling under the effects global recession is gonna get severe blow even though they are going to remove Satyam stocks from NIfty. This Could shoo away lots  of NRI and foreign investors who have been the main reason behind the massive IT development in the last few years. Think about the 50k employees of the company.They are no more secure. and finding a job is difficult these days even for the experienced lot .
And there are around 8ooo freshers (2008 passouts)Who have been recruited by satyam and almst 80 percent of them are yet to join . Being a fresher myself i know how it would feel . Many of them had taken huge loans an the  only way replay was to join Satyam . And now under all these circumstances , chances of them getting joining are very less . And the job market isnt helping either.
After all this when the main culprit ,who is responsible for all this , will be given a punishment he will be out again in bail.I think Its high time that we have stricter  laws for dealing with these kinds of cases . He has played with  thousands of peoples life .

Sorry for being irregular in blogosphere these days .My office shift timings doesnt  allow me to do anything else other than  sleeping    . However i have taken a new year resolution that i will be active from now on   .
This is my first post of the year and i hate to say that it is going to be a Tag   .No , Dont curse me . Its raining tags these days . People are getting more and more creative  by finding new ways to do tags   .
Assuming that i am not weak in mathematics , I can be sure that i have more than 6 tags remaining . And if i include the fact that i have been tagged to do same meme multiple times the count can go beyond 10   .

NATASHA -Well thats the first word that comes to my mind. Natasha was one of best looking girls of my school. Before You jump into conclusions Let me clarify that it has nothing to do with crush or love .  The reason why this word is here  is known to 5 of my school friends and i would like to keep it that way    .
