EMERGENCY
* The Emergency Number worldwide for **Mobile** is 112 ..* If you find
yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an
emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to
establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112
can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. **Try it out.**

Have you locked your keys in the car? Does you car have remote keys?
This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone:
If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call
someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone.
Hold your cell phone about a   foot from your car door and have the person
at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on
their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your
keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away,
and if you can reach someone who has the other “remote” for your car, you
can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

Hidden Battery power
Imagine your cell battery is very low , you are expecting an important call
and you don’t have a charger. Nokia instrument comes with a reserve
battery. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with
this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This
reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time.

How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone’s serial number, key in the following digits on your phone:
* # 0 6 #
A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your
handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. when your phone get
stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They
will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the
SIM card, your phone will be totally useless.
You probably won’t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can’t use/sell it either.
If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

NOKIA VS NOKLA ???

Above two phones are two N95 sets , with a slight difference that one is NOKIA N95 and Other is NOKLA N95.

Confused ??? Well Nokla is some south korean or chinese counterpart of nokia which manufatures its own N series models and its so remarkably disguised as nokia N95 that even the most attentive of the customers would fall for it and assume it as an authentic N95 phone by nokia.

Well ,even i was flabbergasted by its resemblance to the orignal NOKIA n95. Actually its not only N95 whose clone is being sold freely in the market there are even other models of N series that are available in the market manufactured by the Nokla.

One month back i had written a post in which i had mentioned how badly i wanted the N95 set. After getting to know about the N95 (nokla ) i guess i can have a N 95 set at last 😛 . Yes , the orignal N95 would cost me around 25000 bucks however if i choose N95 (nokla ) i have to shell out just about 7000 rupees.Even If it is a duplicate one IT would be enough for me to flaunt it in my college 🙂 . Though the warranty is not given it has some features that even orignal N95 doesn’t have..Seems queer ,right ??? yes, the duplicate one has a facility to watch Tv in it and It even has dual sim card feature through which you can use two sim cards by swapping each other at any time.

Howeever you have to compromise with some features like Nokla N95 has only 3.3 megapixel camera and there are no authentic service providers for the set if something happens ot the set.

NOKIA BRAND UNDER THREAT

Having a nokia set ,with problem of overheating while charging,well ,if yes,then check out the battery for BL-5c label in it.

Finally ,nokia has admitted that th problem of overheating do exists in some of the models and has agreed to replace a whopping 46 milllion batteries .They told then in some case overheating caused by short circuit can even dislodge the batteries.the problems is only for the batteries manufactured by Matsushita .

You can check whether ur mobile has been affected or not by logging into the nokia web site and entering the serial number for the battery.fianlly go the closest nokia retail shop and get the replacement..

Well ,it must be a huge loss for the nokia as far as both fiancial reasons and its BRAND is concerned with already ,number of nokia users dwindling with each day

NOKIA N95- A revolution in itself

Isn’t that gorgeous ??? Wait a minute , dont be envious !!! just because i am writing a post on this doesn’t mean i own it..Well thats a common perception , 🙂 .In no way i fancy my chances of owning it. Tts too sumptuous as far as i am concerned.

Well ,the post just shows my infatuation for the amazing model.A revolution in itself. Some of u may not agree especially the ERICSON fan’s 😛 .Anyway that wont stop me from talking abt this phone..As far as i am concerned its taken the mobile manufacturing to a totally diffrent era.

With so many features juxtaposed without compromising the compactness of the phone is just amazing (99x53x21 mm).It has 5 mega pixel camera and has an internal memory of 160 MB and 2 GB micro SD card is bundled with it.Like many other n95 uses symbian operating system.Music features aren’t bad either but the main thing that appeals to me the most is the GPS facility . However u have to download maps for using that facilty.FM and TV out facility is also functional.

According to me its an exquisite peice of technology with loads of features .Obviously u cant expect me to review all the features here ,for god sake i am not a gadget expert :p .Still curious ?? if any ,plz help urself and check out some good tech site. I have to stop it here..HOPE to own that one unless some other peice from the nokia rivals come out with anothor marvel .
