I was in office for almost 65 hours this week including Saturday.
I am suffering from Severe cold since Tuesday and the virus isn’t even close to leaving my body. 😥
If that was not enough , my computer has been infected from a virus called Rahul’s Virus 🙂 . Cant use my Pen Drive , it shows some stupid error message having Rahul’s name . Luckily , I dont see anything else affected by it . Need to get Rid of that anyway. Btw Who is this crackpot – Rahul ? 😡
Morning went to the showroom where i usually buy Clothes , only to find that the guy had chosen the best possible time for the showroom’s renovation work. Hmph !!
Today’s Match with Australia was called off too , I wonder why dont we keep buffer days in a tour for matches like these.
My Manni (bhabhi) took my book Malgudy Days . She didn’t know that i was already half way through that one 😦 . So off to a fresh Start with The hound of Baskervilles .

Phew !! Its really strange that it takes a build up as lame as the one above to take a blogger like me out from hibernation . Self-Motivation , u see 😀 . Every one Needs motivation . And when there is no one to motivate u . You have do all on your own . Now that cheer girls have stopped Chanting my name let me come to the main idea of the post.
This has been my longest absence from the blogosphere 😦 . I really missed all Your blogs and i guess u must have missed my valuable ,enlightning and entertaining posts too 😀 . Never mind ! Now that i am back , your Ultimate source of Entertainment is back Online :P.
A Lot has happened in a span of month . Yet it seems so vague that i will have to search for words to fill it up here . Sometimes i feel that the world has narrowed down much within a time of 2 months .Home to office , Office to home . Ofcourse they pay me but it still seems so odd . Huh !! May be i need more time to adjust with my Korporate Konnection 😛 . Anyways i dont intend to write my tantrums out here 😛 . So lets talk something interesting . Cricket ??? . WHy not !! . Well, India creating history in NewZeland by winning a series after 41 years is not what i am going to talk about .:P They are creating “history” far too often now that it has started to become little monotonous now 😉 . The interesting thing is that HIPL (Hewitt internal peremiar league) is going on at my office 😛 . The good news is that my team (vennila cricket kuzhu ) is through to super six . Now how good would it feel to hit a six as the winning shot 😛 . Thats what i did and my team members have found their new hero 😀 . Well , you see i have a natural flair for the game . Lucky that i have a blog where i can blow my own trumpet 😛 . And we have formed Vennila kabbadi kuzhu also 😛 . I am sure we would be atleast runner up in that . It seems there are only 2 teams that have registered inluding my team 😛 .
I have regained my old love and passion for books 😛 . Although i dont get much time but still i have been making it a point to read atleast 30-40 pages daily .Currently reading The White Tiger and now i am able to realize why people were going ga-ga over this book . Bought Robin cook’s Invasion . Anyone here who has read that book ?? A short review would be fine in the comment section 😛 . Talking about books , Yesterday one of my collegues came across my blog .She was hell-bent on insisting me that IT field is not my cup of tea. .According to her I should ,perhaps , write a book . Now How crazy is that ?
And Whats all this about Rakhi sawant Getting married On NDTV IMAGINE . I mean Is she On her minds or what . I knew she was crazy but this is too much .I need to figure out a theory which proves that Length of dress u wear is directly proportional to the size of brain 😛 . And May be now NDTV IMAGINE can flaunt with a big advertizement Rakhi ka SWAYAMWAR – Reality show ka Baap :D. The show would be the height of crazyness 😛 .

Ladies and gentlemen , i hereby announce that this is very much the real me and not my ghost . Yes , i am alive . I have been doing the disappearing act for the last 2 weeks .Well,had been a little busy so couldn’t read ur blogs and couldn’t even reply to ur comments for my last post 😦 . Anyway it took my last 2 hours to read all the unread posts in my reader . PHEW !!!! Having so many good blogs that u cant stop reading isn’t easy !!! 🙂
Now , coming back to the post , before u make any conclusions let me tell u this post has nothing to do with the novel One night at the call center or with its author Chetan bhagat 😛 .The only reason that made to keep this title was to make u guys a little curious 😛 .
Well ,most of u know that i have been ranting here in my blog about not getting my joining date 😦 . I have been trying to find some alternatives but considering that IT industry is in deep shit ,its very unlikely that i would be able to find a new job . So for the mean time me and my friends thought of geting into some BPO/callcenter till our respective recruiters gives us joining date .
Yesterday as planned we( 5 of us) decided to go to a reputed BPO here in chennai where they have walk in’s daily .Along with another guy, i reached the place at about 11 and were surprised to see more than 100 students already there waiting ,apparently many for them were like us , fresh ,bright and useless engineers 😛 .
Almost all of them were carrying big files which were supposedly containing their certificates .WE had none .We were just carrying our resumes in hand. Once my other friends came we decided to give our resume in the reception .AFter an hour or so we were called and had some kind of registration . Then we were asked to wait again. We were happy to get some unoccupied seats 🙂 . 30 minutes later we had initial screening . WE were asked to sit in a group of about 10 ppl .The HR gave a brief overview about the company and after which she asked each one of us to tell us about our favorite fruit . Funny eh ?? they supposedly wanted to know how good we speak .After last guy spoke she wrote something in each one of our resumes and gave to us. Then their was a panel round where we were bombarded with questions by 2 HR’s . We were then separated in voice and non voice groups .Apparently those who spoke well were allotted voice and others non voice .
ME and one of my friend were got voice and other 3 got non voice . One guy left without completing the interview further because he dint want non voice .OTher two guys were about to leave too but we convinced them to stay . Me and the guy who was selected for voice were asked to go to another center 20 km away for having an interview with some manager .Meanwhile the nonvoice candidates were given a peice of paper and asked to write about some topic 😛
WE started at about 530 and reached the main office at 7 . We waited there till 9 30 and observed how ppl were working there . It was kinda boring and we were becoming restless .IT was quite an odd time to have an interview isn’t it .When i couldn’t stand more i went and said that i am not interested anymore , I will leave ..But the guy insisted that within 10 minutes u will have ur interview .. after 10 minutes the guy came and started the interview and guess what the same old questions ..Tell me abt urslelf blah blah. We finished it off and started to move out .The HR asked us to come for an apti round tomorrow ( i.e. today ) which was supposed to be just an eyewash .
Other 2 friends who were giving their last round got rejected cuz one of them got so pissed off that he spoke arrogantly to the HRs 😛 . SO me and other guy too dropped the idea of joining as we had lost the interest. After reaching home we had a group chat and we decided to go to some other BPO to try our luck 😛 .
Its almost 1:30 and my eyes are burning ..sorry if the post has some errors not rechecking it now…. gonna hit the bed .
I guess its the right time to flaunt my blogs most recent and the only achievement ever 😆 . I am glad to announce that yesterday my blogstats just crossed 2 lakh mark 😀 . OH BOY!! oh boy!! AM i excited 😀 ??? . I wonder why I/we are so much obsessed with stats . I have always loved following stats in cricket too. I have once mentioned it already that i used to pray that sachin gets to that hundred mark just to add one more to his hundred’s tally never bothering so much even if india loses that game 😛 . Silly me .. CANT help it really !!! 😦
Well, anyways i have been waiting for this from the last 3 days 😆 . NO matter how much i say no of visitors are secondary , I still keep peeping into my blogstas almost every day shamelessly 😛 . I love this feature . Who wouldn’t be happy, knowing that someone actually lands to ur blog from no where . Special credits to google and to other numerous search engines for showing the way to numerous information hungry souls .I am sure that most of them would have been disappointed after landing here lol . 😛 .

ORKUT,hacking ,Funny pictures ,Age of empires , harry potter has brought me most of the hits 🙂 . And yeah CRICKET too which once upon a time used to be my favourite thing to post.now I am refraining myself till india does something great in srilanka ,chances of which are pretty thin 😦 .
i had started blogging last year mid june. Memories are still fresh like it happened just yesterday . I saw a link on my seniors orkut profile and something told me that i should click it ..I opened it and found an interesting piece of write up , creative and engrossing . I wanted to try my hand on it the very next minute. I had no idea what was blogging .Infact his blog was the first one i ever read. I knew i suck at writing . MY school English marks were proof of that so I doubted if anyone would ever read the gibberish posts i might end up posting.Not influenced by my apprehensions i got a free blog for myself . All i needed that was to kill time. 😉 during those days .
One year later now i realise that this has been one of the best decisions i have made in my life and quickest one too 😛 . I have really enjoyed this one year in wordpress.(Only thing i hate about wordpress is that the themes are not that great and are very few 😦 ) . Blogging has become a part of my life now and i am glad to say that it has much more importance than what i gave once to orkut 😛 . The meaning of the term blogging has changed for me with time after seeing many bloggers . I am glad that i am getting some regular readers nowadyas which is best part of this .A big thanks to all my regular readers and to all the unknown readers too… ;P . There’s no way i can express my gratitude here . Perhaps u can tell me if i can !! 😛

Finally yes finally i got to see Jaane tu ya jaane na . Well , someone said me i should shoot myself for not watching the movie til now.. now i understood why he meant that. Such a beautiful and romantic movie. I guess i am relieved that bollywood can still make such movies. 😛 and what to say about the songs everybody would agree that Ar rahman has done a terrific job. Wonder how he creates magic everytime :O . I listen to Kabhi kabhi aditi song atleast yes atleast 30 times a day. 😀 . I loved all the characters and megha was gorgeous . AInt she ?? After Happy days (a telugu movie ) I guess this was the next best movie i have seen in recent times . Ummm.. ok .. I dont wish to review the movie here in this post so will stop with this …
