Well, i have been busy browsing net through my Sony W810i free of charge for last 3 days  . Yes,t hat’s true , No need to pay 20 rupees per day for free internet usage .

You dont believe me right ?? well,even i dint beleive when my freind told me abt this So i thought of giving it a try . All u need is an airtel connection and airtel live subscription which is of course free . Most of you must be using opera till now but there’s a new browser out here called TEASHARK .

Thats it  , you are ready to browse . Yes u heard me right there is no need of any extra settings.Remember that this is not hacking its just that the browser works free for airtel users I am clueless on how it works .

BOOK review – UNTITLED by NIKHIL KUMAR

Well, this post has been due since a month i guess but better late than never the post is finally here. Got hold of the hard copy (autpographed one) of this book more than a month back 🙂 .IT was very kind of him indeed to send his book all the way from his place 🙂 .

Well, the book has 25 stories in all and each story has been well written with a unique storyline.In other words ,Each story diverges into a totally different scenario which is what makes this book even more special .Most of the stories emphasize various human emotions such as love ,anger , revenge which are well intertwined with suspense humor and drama. some stories deals with the philosophical thoughts that a human mind generates.I feel this must be hardest part from an authors point of few.But i guess nikhil has done exceptionally well to express what he really wanted to express 🙂 .

The book starts with the story titled ASCENT which i felt was rightly kept as the first one and gives a brief idea of what we can expect from the rest of the book .It just oozes out emotions as the story progresses with each line.

I really enjoyed reading some stories in the middle like RUSTIC HILL , THE BARGAIN , EVENING SHOWERS AND SIMPLE CRIME .Well, not because the others stories weren’t good , Its just the fact that these stories were more of fiction (my area of interest 🙂 ) which created suspense and intrigue engrossing my mind , but i am sure serious readers would really appreciate the other stories much more than the ones i have mentioned .

There are two stories that i cant forget to mention here. REMOTE WAR and THE INNER WORKINGS OF A FEMALE BRAIN .The common thing in both the stories is humor . The former basically deals with the a very important day to day activity in a every middle class family “remote wars” 😛 .Each line has a its own share of humor and the way nikhil has written the story with a different perspective makes it all togethor even more funny 😆 . The latter one titled THE INNER WORKINGS OF A FEMALE BRAIN would surely be one of the best picks from the book not because of the content (which i feel is 99 percent true ) but because the way nikhil has crafted it . The story deals with most enigamatic creatures of the universe WOMEN 😉 .

The female brain has quickly analysed the greatest weakness that the Y-chromosome accords to us.It is that ,While the man has to spend his time,money and efforts to woo a girl ,she on the other hand just has to smile , and the guy’s hers!

These are few lines from it.Probably every guy reading this must be coming up with the same phrase how true !!! 😛 and most girls would certainly disagree 😉 .

Another story worth mentioning it is TRANSIENCE Which was adjudged as one of the best stories in a contest organized by a TIMES OF INDIA. A simple story yet something that grasps ur attention.For me all other stories too looked equally well .May be because i am not into voracious reading and have a limited range of books that i read.

And a final appreciation to AKHIL C.R whose did a wonderful job by clicking some realistic and apt pictures for each story .

JOHN RAMBO

I have had a real hard time downloading a DVD rip print of JOHN RAMBO. Waking up at 2 am ,yes 2 in the morning ,after sleeping at 1:30 is not easy and thanks to the poor service from the BSNL i cant even rely them for a infallible net connection ,so that i could happily switch off the monitor and give some rest to my eyes . Not having an unlimited connection has really some disadvantages 😦 . Worse , due to the connection faliure somehwere in Mediterranean sea the downloading speed was so slow that it took 3 days for me to downlaod it completely. Imagined getting up at 2 continuously for three days . ???

ALL for a movie where u have a guy as invincible as , i mean i cant imagine , who almost single handedly finishes off a whole military battalion . Believe me watching the movie was an arduous job even then downloading it . Being a huge fan of the other 3 prequels i was expecting ,if not a better one , a movie that would be as entertaining as the previous ones. But the movie turned out to be a big disappointment for me yet again.My chemistry with movies isn’t going well at all.This is my third consecutive review that is negetive 🙂

Violence is something that is obvious with all sylvester movies but this one was different .The previous versions of rambo had a strong story line where he completed the mission alone but they looked plausible if not possible due to the intelligent script.But this movie looked more like a documentry that has been shot to show the miserable life of people in burma suffer. Most of the movie is about killing people with guns , bombs or by some other means . you can see bodies being torn into pieces almost in every frame.

There was a time where i cant even see whats happening in the movie .I agree the nights are supposed to be like that but originality upto this extent where you cant even see what the actors are doing is silly .

Stallone carries the same weired expression in his face throughout the whole movie which u can see in the poster above it seemed like he was angry with the crew or something 😀 .The movie’s climax was as expected – rambo massacres 1000 army men with one gun ofcourse a big one 😛 . The climax has been shot with intense graphic like body parts flying , well some scenes reminded me of the movie ” SAVING PRIVATE RYAN ” .

Here is the story line —

SPOILER ALERT

Twenty years after the last film in the series, John Rambo is staying in northern Thailand, where works as a Boat man. Civil war still continues to take thousands of life in burma which rambo seems to have ignored since the last 20 years .

A group of human rights missionaries arrive at thailand to seek help from rambo to guide them upto the burma border. Sarah (JULIE BENZ) and Michael Bennett (PAUL SCHULZE) ask rambo to help which rambo denies first as in earlier movies 😛 . but then finally accepts .The missonaries after going to the village get trapped .

Arthur Marsh (KEN HOWARD) asks rambo again to help the embassy to find the missionaries along with some hired mercenaries .How he saves the missionaries is the rest of the story. 😀

BHEEMA REVIEW

 

Just came back watching the Movie “BHEEMA” in mayajaal complex 😛 and after 3 hours of non stop violence i was quite relieved to be out of the theater .Well ,i had written a review on billa earlier for which i was bombarded with some rash comments from ajith fans .So this time i am not expecting any softness from vikram fans 🙂 .
I am a great admirer of vikram so i was anticipating this movie from a long long time .The movie is about three main things – Violence ,violence and violence.SO light hearted girls please stay away from the movie :p but ofcourse you could got to watch the movie just for vikram 🙂 .He was the only life of the movie.As always, he played his role with perfection.
The movie revolves around shekhar(vikram) ,a thug who joins the gang od chinna (prakash raj).As usual their is a rival group (raghuvaran’s) which has a stronghold over the city.Shekhar single handedly fights and acquires the control for his master prakash raj.This is the main story line and ofcourse trisha comes inbetween every now and then for the obvious romance track . According to me trisha’s role was total useless  in the script but an unexpected climax gives some justice to her role 😛 .The director wants to give some message at the end  but for me the climax sounded as if the story writer was out of any ideas and was finding it difficult to end the story so the dirctor ended all the roles abruptly and that was the end (this is meant to be a spoiler for all of you who have not seen the movie ,I just saved your 100 bucks :D).
Songs are good if not great .But i was totally exasperated while watching the item song done by sherin.Was that meant to end some spice to the movie??If it was, Director made the worst mistake by picking up sherin who was finding it difficult to even shake her hips .OMG!! who would call that as a dance .Though sherin is HOT still ,an item number is too much for her 😛 .
Backround music was awesome for almost all the scenes.Fights sequences were something that were larger than life ,just unbeleivable, but the way vikram did them made it look great.Raghuvaran’s perfaormance as a villain was just infallible.HAd a short but crisp role.
On the whole the movie was OK ,not more than that ,dint live upto its expectations.Except vikram’s performance there was nothing much in it.

BILLA – REVIEW !!

Almost after ages i had decided to watch a Ajit movie and it all ended up in a big big disappointment. Yes, you heard me right , i m repenting now for this one wrong decision. You may be wondering why the hell is he starting with a wrong note but i cant help it I just cant.This is the place where i can Rant with piece 😛 away from ajith fans.People who havn’t seen DON might be able to appreciate the movie apart from it i dont think the movie was worth its hype.

For all those oblivious of the movie ,its a remake of the movie DON.That too second time , first one came long back Starring Rajinikanth and now its AJITh turn to do try his luck . It all started with a call from my cousin who asked me to watch this movie Billa along with him.Well,though i am not an ajith fan i decided to go as the movie was extensively hyped up.Got balcony tickets each worth 120 bucks 😦 Considering the theater’s conditon ,its too much. I would have got a ticket for 75 even in SATYAM COMPLEX provided its not housefull 😛 .

I should kick the guy who gave 3 stars for billa in the local newspaper 😡 .The movie isn’t worth even 2 stars.The Whole movie has a sober and sullen look apart from some scenes which are just OK . Ajith hardly had any dialogues in the first half an hour of the movie.Story remains pretty much the same with no suspense in the end unlike the Hindi DON .

Ajith PArt was not bad but i guess he could have given it a better shot.That X factor was missing which should have been present in a DON’s charecter BUT i guess nobody else would fit in Billa’s shoes . All the better scenes have been shown in the trailer and the movie looks a complete mess void of them.Though the movie has been taken in malasia still there’s no Flamboyance in it.People had been talking about hollywood style  approach in it. Believe me it was far far away from hollywood.I hope hollywood directors are oblivious of the comparisons being made with this movie 🙂 . Songs are again a big mess except the title song and another song (where he is drunk) .I wasn’t expecting much from ajith as far as dance is concerned 😛 .Prabhu and rehman ‘s performances were good. Only scene which caught my attention was when Nayan tara comes in a two piece swimming suit 😛 . She too dint have that many dialogues .I dont know why they chose santhanam in the movie he is a comedian by profession but he is given only 2 scenes in the whole movie .Can you believe it ?? It doesn’t make any sense at all.On the whole  i am more than  just dissatisfied with the movie. Ajith fans will like the movie no matter how he performs .Speaking taking kollywood in mind the movie may be a commercial Hit but Once again Ajith movie has failed to impress me.

Plus Points

• Rehman’s  short and crisp role
• Background score
• Car chase scene with those drifts stunts

Negetive points

• Nothing new in the story line
• Songs not at all impressive except the title song
• Lots of logical errors (all film have)

i cant mention each negetive points here .They are just innumerable.

The main jist of my whole post is If you are planning to go for this movie ,dont expect too much otherwise it would be a heartache for u too like me.
