SHABBASH INDIA

Team india  is on a roll. Series win against Australia made them the top contenders to replace worlds best team and now with this improbable win we have just proved that we are almost there .Yes , All we need to do now is to conquer srilankan lions in their own den and to keep up the winning rate abroad.

Mondays win was a special  one. Very special indeed . After those gruesme terror attacks, atleast cricket lovers like me have something to cheer abut. Winning on home soil is no new thing for us . I dont think india had any chances of winning the game till 4th day post lunch session . India was facing a defeat that looked more or less inevitable . Chasing more than 350 runs in the fourth innings n a fifth day pitch is not an easy task .But the brilliant knock by sehwag set opened up the game against all dds . Time and again sehwag has proved how imprtant he is for this indian line up . What t osay about sachin. !! He is  GD . Yes , cricket is a relegion for me like millions f  others and sachin is my GoD . Scoring his 41st hundred through the last winning strke made my day  😀 . I mean  i was tired to see him getting out in 90s. He would have Got more than 100 international hundreds in DI and test combined if he had not been out in 90s . Yuvaraj as usual played his natural game and thats what made easy fr him t scre runs quickly .

.The test has brought in lot of positives fr the indian cricket TEAM. it showed the temperament ,fighting spirit and ability of  indian cricket team to win under any circumstances  .After australia i dont think any team has dominated us in a test  on home soil. England did really well to control 70 percent of the test .They had almost  won the test . Just one session took the game away from them .Strauss played exceptionally well . Hitting two centuries in a same test in n kids job that to in subcontinent.

All in all  it was a wonderfull test match . The best thing was after a long time there was a result in a test match played in chennai 😛 . I just hope our team conitnues the gd form and replace australia as the worlds best team soon 🙂 .

OFF TOPIC :

This is my 200th post . Gosh !! I never thought i would make it this long . Blogging which started as a tool to kill time has become an obsession now . Although i am not posting as regularly as i was , it still remains an important part of my life .

WordPress 2.7 !!!

The wait is over. WordPress 2.7 is here. Don’t know how many were actually waiting for it like me 😛 .
The Dashboard looks awesome . The last one sucked , I hated wordpress for that 😛 . Now i am again in love with it :lol:. Best thing about wordpress 2.7 is that it is very well organized .Looks neat and tidy .
You have a screen option that allows you to select the things u want to get displayed on the dashboard like recent comments , incoming links ,Your stuff ,recent drafts, blogstats and Quickpress. Infact i am using the quickpress for this post. Dont know how it will turn out as no options formatting are given .

With the change in the dashboard i have changed my theme too .Right now experimenting with its custom colors . I was bored of Digg 3 . I wonder when wordpress will release some more free themes .

I guess its the right time to flaunt my blogs most recent and the only achievement ever 😆 . I am glad to announce that yesterday my blogstats just crossed  2 lakh mark 😀 . OH BOY!! oh boy!! AM i excited 😀 ??? . I wonder why I/we are so much obsessed with stats . I have always loved following stats in cricket too. I have once mentioned it already that i used to pray that sachin gets to that hundred mark just to add one more to his hundred’s tally never bothering so much even if india loses that game 😛 . Silly me .. CANT help it really !!! 😦

Well, anyways  i have been waiting for this from the last 3 days   😆 . NO matter how much i say  no of visitors are secondary , I still keep peeping into my blogstas almost every day shamelessly 😛 . I love this feature . Who wouldn’t be happy, knowing that someone actually lands to ur blog from no where . Special credits to google and to other numerous search engines for showing the way to numerous information hungry souls .I am sure that most of them would have been disappointed after landing here lol . 😛 .

ORKUT,hacking ,Funny pictures ,Age of empires , harry potter  has brought me most of the hits 🙂 . And yeah CRICKET too which once upon a time used to be my favourite thing to post.now I am refraining myself till india does something great in srilanka ,chances of which are pretty thin 😦 .

i had started blogging last year mid june. Memories are still fresh like it happened just yesterday . I saw a link on my seniors orkut profile and something told me that i should click it ..I opened it and found an interesting piece of write up , creative and engrossing  . I wanted to try my hand on it the very next minute. I had no idea what was blogging .Infact his blog was  the first one i ever read. I knew i suck at writing . MY school English marks were proof  of that so  I doubted if anyone would ever read the gibberish posts i might end up posting.Not influenced by my apprehensions i got a free blog for myself . All i needed that was to kill time. 😉 during those days .

One year later now i realise that this has been one of the best decisions i have made in my life  and quickest one too 😛 . I have really enjoyed this one year in wordpress.(Only thing i hate about wordpress is that the themes are not that great  and are very few 😦 ) . Blogging has become a part of my life now and i am glad to say that it has much more importance than what i gave once to orkut 😛 . The meaning of the term blogging has changed for me with time after seeing many bloggers . I am glad that i am getting some regular readers nowadyas which is best part of this .A big thanks to all my regular readers and to all the unknown readers too… ;P . There’s no way i can express my gratitude here . Perhaps u can tell me if i can !! 😛

PEOPLE I LOVE TO HATE

ITs been a quite a while since I posted something  here. Had an exam yesterday for which i had been trying to prepare all these days.Note the word trying 😛 .Alas!! i couldn’t. I might just pass but not sure .Anyways I am as exhilarated and excited now as one could be so least bothered about result as of now . I just found a new way of browsing  internet though mobile absolutely free of cost 😉 .Well, would tell u about this in my next post 😛 .ITs time for the TAGS now .. 🙂

Matangi has tagged to me write down 5 cadres of people whom i love to hate or i would rather say who irritate me the most .

• Back Biters – These people would certainly top the list . People who speak with us wearing a big smile on their faces and when we are gone they speak as bad about us  as possible.

• Second category of people are those who just cant see others rise . Jealousy being their main characteristic . You could these people fuming with smoke coming through their ears when they see someone better .

• Selfish people .There are loads of people around us who are too self centered.All they care is abt themselves . They would come to u in need of a help and when we are in need of their help they would turn their faces instead of reciprocating .

• These type of people are the ones whom i got acquainted after starting this blog.Visitors (who are not blogger’s ) who don’t care to read the post fully and jump into conclusions just by reading the title.I hate them to the core. I have loads of visitors like that who just dont  have enough brain to read what i am trying to say.

• Last category belongs to the bunch of girls and guys both who have no job other than sending silly forwards that too perpetually .I just cant stand them.ONCE in a while is Ok but sending it 5-10 times a day is quite unbearable .I find these people quite exasperating.

• I am an electronics and communication engineer but i hate electronics ..Strange …isnt it ???

• I was  the topper of my  department till the last sem 😛 not anymore though thanks to my bad performance in my last sem . Even more strange huh?? 😛

I always felt like “andhon mein kaana raja ” in my college  😆

• I hate going to doctors .May be i have “medicophobia ” or something like that 😛 ..while i was a kid i used to prefer injections rather than gulping down the tablets i always used to feel nauseated after taking those tablets.

• Of late i have become a huge fan of Calvin and Hobes comic series. i am spending most of my free time reading those.Here’s an entire collection of calvin and hobes comic series .

• Well,strange it may seem but when none of my friends are online in orkut i love sneaking and peeping into other peoples profiles and albums. so if u do have an account in any of the networking sites plz make ur scrapbook and albums private to avoid eavesdroppers like me 😛 .

• I am a DIE HARD fan of sachin and frankly speaking sometimes sachin becomes more important for me than the team as a whole.There was a time when i used to be happy when sachin used to get hundred no matter who won the match.

• There is only one thing i can cook till date and that is MAGGI . but i wonder why it takes me atleast 10 minutes to cook it properly..if u guys have any idea to cook it in 2 minutes let me know 🙂

• I love reading books but only novels .i am not into that much of self improvement and spiritual books.they just dont interest me may be sometime in future i will give it a shot too. Give me any god damned novel and i will finish it off without saying “uff “!!!

• I Hate south indian food and i hate saying this being a south indian 🙂 . May be because i stayed most of my life in north i am not accustomed to eat south indian dishes. Well,i saw some people writing they like south indian food believe me there’s lot more in south indain food apart from idly , dosa and rice and you dont want to eat that 😛 . It sucks according to me . Hope my mom doesn’t see this post 😛

• I am a total NET freak . All i need to survive is a PC with a net connection.

Well,Well its 2:15 am now so i guess i should sleep now ..cyaa !!!

HOW TO DIGG ???

Guys, I have been trying to embed digg button in my posts from a long time but each time i fail to do so.

i can see only java script for the button in  the site which wordpress doesn’t support .I have seen people using it so i know there’s a way.SO plese any of you who are aware of this plz do let me know too.
